Jewelry has a materialist aspect that contrasts with painting. When jewelry is something that you can carry around, live with, lose on the street or find again years later underneath your bed, a painting is there steady. Placed on a wall of your living room, it doesn't move, it just stares into you.

The initial impulsion to Angé's craft always start with a painting; when jewelry holds a more material and practical purpose, paintings are the essence of the world. Therefore both crafts are intertwined and one can't live without the other.
